New Homeowners:

Delia and Adriana Marquez will purchase the Habitat home at 1416 10th Avenue.

Nathan and Mandy Cole and their son, Isaiah, will be the homeowners at 1420 10th Avenue.

Our Mission:
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat is founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent, affordable place to live in dignity and safety.

Honored Volunteer of the Month

Scotts Bluff Co. Habitat for Humanity honors Tony Mendes for his volunteer spirit. The owner of Tony Mendes Excavation has dug the basements and crawl spaces and done the backfill for six of the eight Habitat homes. Tony and his wife Nikki have lived in Scottsbluff about
25 years and have five grown sons. Tony says the timing of the work he volunteers for Habitat fits into his schedule. Besides, "it's the right
thing to do," he says. "It's a part of giving back to the community."
Habitat thanks Tony for helping in this important way.
